RSO Orientation

ALL registered student organizations must complete RSO Orientation for the 2023-2024 academic year in order to register events and be recognized by the University of Mississippi. The orientation has been moved virtual this year to allow greater accessibility for student leaders and advisors.

Virtual RSO Orientation 2023-2024

Registered Student Organization (RSO) Orientation is coordinated by the Gertrude C. Ford Ole Miss Student Union. Orientation sessions provide student leaders and advisors for RSOs an overview of RSO expectations, available resources, pertinent dates and events, and the opportunity to ask questions.

Registered Student Organizations are required to have at least two officers (preferably the president and another executive officer) of their organization who are listed on the registration or renewal form complete RSO Orientation each academic year.

Please contact Dugan Walker (dugan@olemiss.edu) with any questions.  In cases where an RSO does not meet this requirement, that RSO may be declared inactive and will forfeit rights and privileges granted to RSOs (event registration, recognition, funding, etc.).
