Welcome to MPower

MPower is an extended orientation leadership experience for incoming first year students at the University of Mississippi. MPower is guided by the University of Mississippi Creed and provides leadership development at the individual, team, and community level.

MPower prepares incoming first year students to understand the history of the University of Mississippi and to be responsible members of our community. Participants will be placed in small groups led by a peer mentor, who will guide them through a series of activities and conversations geared toward college success.

MPower is seeking a diverse group of student to serve on our leadership team for MPower 2021! Members of the MPower staff with have the opportunity to welcome new students to campus in a welcoming and impactful environment. MPower Student Leaders will serve as mentors, facilitate leadership activities, and connect students to helpful campus resources and involvement opportunities.
