Important update from the University of Mississippi regarding campus events and student organization events:
Campus events and gatherings
Effective immediately (3/12/2020), all university-sponsored non-Athletics events and large on- and off-campus gatherings, including events sponsored by any registered student organizations, will be canceled or postponed until further notice. Please look for announcements from event coordinators and contact them if you have questions. We encourage administrative gatherings and large meetings to be conducted by teleconference, and keep in-person meetings to an absolute minimum. We will explore options to enable certain events to be held virtually. As a member of the SEC, Ole Miss Athletics will follow the approach announced by the conference earlier today, and any subsequent notifications.
IMPORTANT: Due to current state and local health and safety guidelines regarding COVID-19, restrictions are in place for hosting indoor gatherings for 10 people and outdoor gatherings for 20 people. Once restrictions are lifted, we will accept reservations for larger numbers. Please stay up-to-date with guidelines for hosting gatherings as you plan ahead.
Please note, due to COVID-19 planning, ALL Student Union meeting rooms and event spaces have limited/restricted seating. More information can be found on the Reservations page. For Union spaces, fees and seating capacities have been updated. All non-Union spaces that the Student Union reserves are suspended until further notice. Due to limited availability of meeting and event spaces, we highly encourage the use of Zoom. All university faculty, staff, and students have access to the university’s Zoom license. All confirmed reservations must meet existing university, local, state, and national health and safety guidelines.
