Will Takewell, Associate Director of Leadership and Engagement

Achiever – Learner – Relator – Strategic – Self-Assurance

Will Takewell is a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Will earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana and his master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is currently working on his master of science degree in hospitality management at the University of Mississippi. The only way this can be done, however, is through meaningful connection and knowing who we are and how we show up for the world. In December 2019, Will became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach after working with Gallup for more than seven years on his college campuses. He uses this tool as a leadership educator on campus to develop stronger teams and individuals in student organizations and university departments.
